瓔珞紋には、瓔珞という観音様の装飾品を模した模様を、ボタンの円周に沿って配置し、中心に盛金の小菊を描いています。季節をとわない吉祥紋として人気のあるデザインです。ベースにゴールドを使用した「瓔珞紋G」と、プラチナを使用した「瓔珞紋Pt」があり、色違いの６色シリーズとなっております。繊細なデザインを際立たせてくれる15㎜に比べ、写真の30㎜のタイプはよりダイナミックな印象を与えてくれます。

The pattern on this button is called Youraku, which represents an intricate Buddha ornament. This is the very first design I painted on a button that won the Special Judges Award at the 2010 Japan Button Design Contest.
